The 3Dlab UMCU is a clinical in-house consulting service available to the whole hospital and focused on the application of patient-specific medical (3D) technology. In addition the 3D lab UMCU is a research partner for medical and technological projects extending beyond the borders of the UMCU. Expertise is offered in the area of:
- General 3D medical technological expertise
- Visualizations of patient cases (segmentations, simulations)
- Patient specific orthosis and prosthesis
- Patient specific instruments (E.g. 3D printed drilling and saw guides)
- Patient specific implants
- Regulatory Expertise (Medical Device Regulations)
